Description:
Welcomes new neighbors; ensures everyone has a copy of the Good Neighbor Guide; ensures everyone has a copy of the Community Dister Plan (to be created); organizes community events, such as annual block parties, Community Days (Neighbors Helping Neighbors), and bi-annual yard sales.

Volunteering Opportunities
We are highlighting the following opportunities as priorities for much-needed volunteer help. If you wish to participate on one of these projects, please contact us or attend one of the monthly meetings.
Beautification/Architectural Committee
Description:
Oversees landscaping projects in common areas; manages installation and maintenance of shrubs and flowers at main entrances; reports any broken or damaged signs, lights, etc.; helps the HOA board manage the aesthetic and functional upkeep of public spaces; contributes to the labor involved in enhancing the natural appeal of The Villas of Sunset Grove.

Need: We need a minimum of three volunteers on this committee.
Emergency Preparedness
Description:
The goal of this project is to develop a community disaster plan, document the plan, and then communicate it to each resident. The plan will include important emergency contact numbers, shelter locations, and other information that residents need during disaster situations.
Benefits:

Helps prepare the community for unexpected occurrences (hurricanes, floods, etc.)

Identifies procedures that will maintain order and provide useful informaiton to residents during emergencies
Need: We need at least one volunteer to help us put the disaster plan and guide together.
