Dear Neighbors,

The Villas of Sunset Grove recently appointed a new HOA board of directors (who volunteer their services and do not get paid) and is no longer being managed by Ameri-Tech. In 2014, we set out to accomplish several goals for The Villas of Sunset Grove, including exploring ideas for upgrading and modernizing our neighborhood and building our community. Identifying these opportunities has also allowed us to work together toward solutions that will help drive property values up and make our community an even more desirable place to live. We're targeting our focus on two key goals:

  • Strengthen our Community:  to encourage community awareness, participation and cooperation.

  • Beautification:  to drive property values up by enhancing the natural appeal of The Villas of Sunset Grove through improvements to the look and feel of the community’s “mainstreet”.

Keeping people informed is critical to getting them involved, and beautification matters because it's a reflection of a community's pride and commitment to mutual benefit. We have developed two HOA Committees that will help us achieve our goals with the direct involvement of the community. With your help, we’re hoping to establish:

  • Welcoming & Social Committee:  welcomes new neighbors; ensures everyone has a copy of the newly created "Good Neighbor Guide", which includes key contact information and emergency phone numbers; ensures everyone has a copy of the Community Disaster Plan (to be created); organizes community events, such as annual block parties, "Community Days (Neighbors Helping Neighbors)", and bi-annual yard sales. We need a minimum of three volunteers on this committee.

  • Beautification/Architectural Committee:  oversees landscaping projects in common areas; manages installation and maintenance of shrubs and flowers at main entrances; reports any broken or damaged signs, lights, etc.; helps the HOA board manage the aesthetic and functional upkeep of public spaces; contributes to the labor involved in enhancing the natural appeal of The Villas of Sunset Grove. We need a minimum of three volunteers on this committee.

These committees have been established to benefit the Villas of Sunset Grove community, including you. Our community's prosperity and health depends upon your participation. Enhancing the cohesive appearance and function of our public spaces is critical to making The Villas of Sunset Grove a better place. If you wish to participate in one (or more) of these committees, please contact us.

Warm regards,

The Villas of Sunset Grove HOA Board of Directors:

Bob McMillen, President

Trevor Gregg, Vice President

Kim Shear, Treasurer and Secretary
